DesignEars® Aviation Earmolds are made to contour into the ear for a discreet, more comfortable fit.

Made via an impression of your ear, the impressions are scanned to a digital file that can be kept on file for up to 5 years. It is digitally altered to your desired shape, and then cast using the latest 3D technology.
Made from a soft 40 shore hardness silicone that is flexible enough to move with you but firm enough to hold its shape, they are perfect to wear under a helmet or wherever hearing protection is required.
With a NNR30 rating giving you 40.3db of protection at 4000hz when required, optional filters can also be fitted to offer the best solution for the environment you are in.

Using our vast years of experience and working closely within the aviation industry, we have developed the ultimate in comfort. Our Aviation Earmolds are made to offer the best of sound quality and ease of cleaning with a clear tip. Available with a CEO connection with one side 30cm and the other side 38cm in length to offer left or right side fitting to the flight helmet and the wire harness are heat sealed to prevent breakage at the jack.
We produce our own range of specialist harness so we can produce them to just about any length you desire we use quality Knowles Balanced Armature so you receive crystal clear instructions from your crew or race control. DesignEars Aviation Earmolds are made as a slim fit, so they won’t dislodge while taking your helmet off and on and will stay in place while flying giving you the ultimate in comfort for many hours of use.

DesignEars uses medical grade premium heat cured silicone that is also hypoallergenic so not to cause skin irritation.

40 shore – Great all round comfort, strength and flexibility for general use.
60 shore – A super strong material for making earmolds with removable modules for extra strength, a firmer material.

Important Things To Note:

Impressions of your ears are required for us to work from, these can be attained directly from us at our office or if you can’t get to us you can purchase these through an audiology clinic or an Earmold provider.

Please allow 10 to 14 business days from when we receive your impressions to complete you order.
Orders will have a fit guarantee and free adjustment if required for a period of 30 days.
Our DesignEars Lab produced Earmolds have a 4 year mould integrity warranty against cracking and splitting, this warranty does not cover damage due to mistreatment and general wear and tear.

Our custom Earmolds are made from a soft, high-grade silicone that gives you great isolation while still allowing you to hear your environment at an acceptable level.

Using balanced musician armatures that are small yet powerful single driver gives you a more dynamic sound. We source only the best musician drivers from Knowles or Sonion for the best clarity. With an heat seal cable for extra strength one side is 30cm the other is 38cm allowing for left or right connection to the helmet . All wiring is done in house and can be altered to suit your requirements.
